BOOKING, CURATING, and EVENT PRODUCTION
Based in San Francisco, Trixie Rasputin is a passionate producer of entertainment in the Bay Area. Whether bringing her diverse roster of talent to marketplaces such as HEAD WEST, or curating the Lunchbox Music Series for TJPA's rooftop garden at Salesforce Park, producing great shows is only the beginning of what Trixie Rasputin Presents does to promote and highlight local musicians. Trixie's passion and purpose is to connect, celebrate, and curate amazing, authentic experiences for the fans, the performers, and the people working behind the scenes. She has produced packed shows at venues such as Bottom of the Hill and The Chapel, and supports the local music scene at places like Kilowatt, The Knockout, Thee Parkside, Rudi's SF and Gentilly. Her latest ventures include producing the first and second annual Ever Higher Festival at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater and becoming the official booking partner of the Excelsior Outer Mission Merchants Association, which produces Jerry Nite and the South Bound afterparties for the district. In 2024, Trixie booked and managed production for the Main Plaza Stage at Barebottle Brewing's Suds Francisco Beer Festival in Salesforce Park. She is currently the Live Music Production Director for Treasure Fest, and a founding member of Swifty Band, the Bay Area's premier Taylor Swift Tribute Band.
PERFORMANCE
Trixie has been playing shows in the Bay Area since 2006. She has been in a variety of musical projects but most notably her indie rock band Trixie and The Skates (where she sang and performed her original music) and the rock and roll outfit The Mudlords. Today, Trixie is the keyboard player for local rock band, Lazer Beam, which is currently recording their 3rd studio album and playing a handful of shows in the Bay Area. She is a regular performer at the Beacon Grand Lounge in Union Square where she plays a repertoire of original and cover music on the piano, and also the keyboard player for the beloved Swifty Band. Trixie was a featured performer at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell on March 6, 2024 as part of the Women's Month celebrations taking place there. She was also the opening act for "Venus: Showcases That Empower Women" on March 8, 2024 at The Lost Church of San Francisco, and continues to be a promotional partner for the series. PERSONAL LIFE
Trixie enjoys biking around the city, and you will often find her sipping hot chocolate, coffee, or cocktails in the Valencia corridor of the San Francisco Mission District. She jogs for fun (cue 80's hair and spandex), and loves television, movies, live music, and reading. The piano is certainly one of her favorite pursuits and has been a lifelong friend and muse. She also loves a well organized spreadsheet and will go to great lengths to have any excuse to make one.
